Hey, Daniel here!
Welcome to issue #3 of AI Email Marketing Prompts - the paid newsletter that helps you use AI to create high-converting:
Newsletters
Lead magnets
And email sequences
...all in just a fraction of the time.
Today's issue is actually a continuation of last week's newsletter where we talked about how to generate AI-powered lead magnet ideas.
Because here's the thing...
Having a great lead magnet idea is only half the battle.
Once you have an idea, you need to actually build the thing, right?
Well, yes and no.
Actually, there’s another important step (which a lot of people miss) that you should take care of BEFORE you start building your lead magnet…
The Biggest Lead Magnet Mistake I See (And Why It's Costing You Subscribers)
Most creators make this mistake:
They come up with a lead magnet idea, spend weeks building the asset, and only when it’s “ready” they try to figure out how to "sell" it on their landing page.
Now, you might be wondering…
“But Daniel, why is that a mistake?”
Because when you build your lead magnet before building your landing page, you're working with nothing but a vague idea.
You don't have clarity on:
What specific transformation you're promising
What features need to be included to deliver on that promise
How to position the asset to make it irresistible (for the right people)
Etc. etc. etc.
So as a result, you either create an asset that doesn't match what people actually want...
Or you spend hours (sometimes days) trying to reverse-engineer compelling copy for something that's already built.
And both scenarios suck.
Luckily, there’s a better approach…
The Case For Writing Your Landing Page Copy FIRST
It sounds incredibly simple, but this small tweak in your order of operations can actually make a big difference.
For 2 reasons:
It forces you to crystallize your value proposition sooner than later. Writing the landing page copy forces you to get crystal clear on what transformation you're promising and why someone should even care in the first place.
It gives you a blueprint for what to build. Once you know what you're "selling," you know exactly what the asset needs to include to deliver on that promise.
And as a result, creating the actual lead magnet becomes 10x easier.
Because you already have a clear vision and a roadmap for what it needs to accomplish.
It's like having a blueprint before you start building a house.
Now, the next logical question is…
How do you build a compelling landing page?
Well, luckily I have a pretty good (and simple) framework to help with that.
My 6-Part Framework For High-Converting Lead Magnet Landing Pages
In the past few years, I’ve studied AND built dozens (if not hundreds) of lead magnet landing pages.
And in the process, I’ve come up with a simple formula that anyone can use to create a clear & compelling lead magnet landing page.
Let’s break it down:
Step 1: Audience Callout - Grab attention by calling out your ideal reader.
Step 2: Compelling Headline - Promise a clear, tangible outcome or transformation.
Step 3: Objection Handling - Address the biggest barrier keeping people from signing up.
Step 4: Visual Proof - Make the outcome feel tangible with mockups/screenshots.
Step 5: Benefit-Driven Sub-Headline - Explain what's inside and how it works.
Step 6: Strong Call-to-Action - Make it ridiculously easy to sign up.
(Bonus) Step 7: Social Proof - Build trust with credibility statements or stats.
Now, here’s an example of this framework in action:
And here’s how this landing page performed:
The beautiful thing about this formula is that it removes all the ambiguity out of “writing a landing page.”
And it makes the whole process 10x easier.
But it gets even better…
Because you can now use AI to write all this copy in minutes (instead of hours).
How To Write High-Converting Landing Page Copy 10x Faster (Using AI)
Per usual, I've created an AI prompt that follows my 6-step framework to a tee…
And generates not one but THREE different variations of your landing page copy.
That way, you can have multiple options to choose from for each “section” and then mix-and-match them until you create the most compelling version.
All you need to do?
Fill in the placeholders at the end with your lead magnet details.
(And remember - this could be an idea you came up with yourself OR an idea you generated using the prompt from last week's issue!)
Here's the prompt:
