The 30-Day Content Series Flywheel
How to grow your following, your email list, & your business (all at the same time)
The other night I was scrolling TikTok with my wife when I saw something that immediately piqued my curiosity:
This creator was doing a "30 Apartments in 30 Days" series, basically touring a new apartment every single day for a whole month.
And she was absolutely crushing it.
Every video had massive engagement - and she was growing like crazy.
But here's what really caught my attention:
This format wasn't just working for her…
Suddenly, I started seeing it everywhere:
30 recipes in 30 days
30 workouts in 30 days
30 business tips in 30 days
Now, I've been creating content for years, and I can tell you:
The 30-Day Content Series is one of the most underrated growth formats right now.
Because if you design your Series intentionally, you're not just creating content, you're actually building a compounding growth flywheel that works on multiple levels.
So, let me show you exactly how to create your own.
How To Escape The Daily Content Roulette
Most creators struggle with what I call the "Daily Content Roulette."
They wake up, stare at a blank screen, and wonder:
"What the heck should I post today?"
And don't get me wrong - I've been there, too.
In fact, when you're just starting out, there's no other way.
You simply have to brute-force things a little bit.
But if this becomes your long-term “strategy”, you're gonna run into a few different problems:
Inconsistent quality (some days are bangers, most are meh)
Scattered topics (no cohesive narrative or theme)
Zero momentum (each post starts from scratch)
And as you can imagine, this makes it VERY hard to grow (both your social audience but also your email list).
But that's where this Content Series idea comes in.
The 30-Day Content Series Flywheel
Instead of having to reinvent the wheel every day, a 30-Day Content Series gives you a series of constraints that make it 10x easier to create engaging content consistently.
Think about it:
You know exactly what to post each day
Your audience knows what to expect
Every piece builds on the last
But as I mentioned earlier, this format can also become a flywheel that works on multiple levels.
For example, each day in your series can become:
A daily social post
A daily newsletter you send to your email list
Part of a bigger lead magnet or even paid product
Not to mention - depending on the nature of your Series, you can also repurpose & repost your best-performing pieces in the future!
That's how you squeeze the most juice out of this.
Now, let's talk about a few things worth keeping in mind if you want to give this format a try.
5 Tips To Execute A Successful Content Series
After studying successful Series from other creators (and creating one myself), here're a few tips to help you get the best results possible:
1. Pick a constraint that creates natural variety
The best series have built-in diversity.
"30 apartments" works because each apartment is different.
"30 tips" could get boring fast.
2. Choose a theme that aligns with your offer
If you sell fitness coaching, do "30 days of at-home workouts."
If you sell marketing services, do "30 days of growth hacks."
I cannot emphasize this enough:
If you want to leverage your Content Series to grow your business (not just your audience), there needs to be congruence between the "theme" that you choose and your paid offer.
3. Create a consistent format
Ideally, each day should follow more or less the same structure. This makes writing each post/piece easier and sets expectations for your audience.
That said, you also want to find ways to create novelty & make each piece feel fresh.
4. Build in engagement hooks
Ask people to vote, share their favorites, or guess what's coming next. Make it interactive.
This is something I wish I'd done more of back when I ran my own Content Series a few months ago.
5. Plan your repurposing strategy upfront
Before you kick off your Series, make sure you know how you'll turn this into:
Email content
A lead magnet
A paid product
That’ll make your life much easier once you get started.
For example, when I ran my first Content Series (30 AI marketing prompts in 30 days) back in June, I posted each piece as a LinkedIn post.
But I also created a limited-time “pop-up newsletter” that people could sign up to in order to get each day’s prompt straight in their inbox.
Lastly, at the end, I compiled all the prompts I created throughout the 30-day sprint into a lead magnet.
And I’m not going to lie - it was a lot of work. But 100% was worth it.
I wrote a full LinkedIn post reflecting on my biggest lessons from this experiment. If you’re curious, you can check it out here.
