Here’s how it works:
First, you find a group of people who downloaded your lead magnet ~30 days ago.
Then, you send them an email asking if they’re still trying to do the thing you help them with.
Speaking French.
Becoming a ghostwriter.
Vibe coding mobile apps.
Whatever the outcome is.
You literally ask them to let you know by replying to your email with a “yes” or a “no.”
Now, before I show you an example, lemme explain why I love this tactic.
Why this works so well
4 reasons:
It’s intent based - you’re only reaching out because they’ve already raised their hand showing interest in one of your resources.
Both answers are useful - if they are still interested, then that’s great, you can help them take the next step. If they’re no longer interested, you can ask them why and learn where you lost them.
You get replies either way - and replies are great for your deliverability no matter where the conversation goes.
You can do it manually once, then automate it - once you do this one time, you can turn it into an automated sequence inside your ESP and have it work on autopilot going forward.
